Tiverton got there campaign off to start yesterday after beating Cullompton by 46runs.

A positive start to the innings by J.Parr smacking his way to 44 before being caught on the fence.
Cullompton’s R.Mcmanus bowled a tight spell for Cully dismissing Tivvy’s dangerous middle order. His figure’s 9 overs 3wickets 22runs.
With the loss of 3 quick wickets Tivvy were struggling at 104-5, in to the crease was new comer Alex Dixon & the experienced Richard Pugsley alongside him.
They built up a partnership between them & rebuilt the innings; Alex played a great knock finishing on 52.
This left Lowman & young Jake Stoneman to score some valuable runs at the end of the innings getting Tivvy to a competitive 216.
In reply Cullompton’s new overseas signing started off his season in great form, he was causing Parr’s team a huge problems.
Great opening spells from J.Parr & Paul Rendall put pressure on.
Parr picking up two early wickets, one being the wicket of Shaun Evenden for 0, a huge wicket to get so early, A great catch from Pugsley at slip to dismiss him.
Richard Pugsley bowled a superb spell, picking up the wicket of Cully’s Overseas straight after drinks.
T.Mupariwa batted beautiful for 72, but once the wicket of him fell Cully were on the back foot.
J.Parr & R.Pugsley got stuck in taking 4 wickets a piece. Dane Williams also played his part with the ball bowling a tight spell & picking up a wicket himself. Paul Rendall finished things up for Tiverton Bowling Cullompton out for 170.
A Great all-round performance for Tiverton.
